Alwyn Lopez "Al" Jarreau (born March 12, 1940) is an American singer. A seven-time Grammy Award winner, he is the only vocalist in history to win in three separate categories: jazz, pop, and R&B. He won the aforementioned Grammys within a span of four consecutive decades — the '70s, '80s, '90s and '00s.

    From tomorrow until July 26, the second music B-Estival festival will take place at the Poble Espanyol.Among the expected artists to perform in Barcelona are Carlinhos Brown from Brazil, Orishas, Youssou N’Dour, John Mayall, George Benson together with Al Jarreau and the Spanish group Nacha Pop and Julieta Venegas from Mexico.

    Guitar legend George Benson and smooth jazz vocalist extraordinaire Al Jarreau have joined the lineup for this year's Umbria Jazz Festival, to be held in and around the medieval Italian town.

    Grammy-winning singer Al Jarreau says that while he's still at the top of his game vocally, aging does take its toll on his prodigious talents.
