Brand New are an alternative rock band, comprising of lead vocalist and lyricist Jesse Lacey, guitarist Vincent Accardi, bass guitarist Garrett Tierney and drummer Brian Lane. The band was formed in 2000 in Merrick, New York on Long Island, USA. The band's first song to see significant airplay was "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows", which fell into heavy rotation on many radio stations during the summer of 2003, while they toured during the 2003 Vans Warped Tour. Many of the band's influences on their music include the Foo Fighters, Archers of Loaf, Weezer, The Smiths, and The Beach Boys. On February 12, 2007, BBC Manchester conducted an interivew with Lacey, in which he stated that the band currently has plans to release another album.
