Florida Boyz
The Buckwheat Boyz was a Florida-based quartet responsible for the rap song "Peanut Butter Jelly Time," which became an Internet superhit after a video using the song was published on the internet, featuring a dancing banana. The group, founded in 1997 and disbanded in 2001, had one eponymous full-length record, which also included the song "Ice Cream and Cake." The Ying Yang Twins made a remix of "Peanut Butter Jelly Time". Yahoo! Current Buzz featured "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" on November 6, 2006. Video removed as of July 11, 2007.

Gov. Charlie Crist enlisted Arnold Schwarzenegger on Friday to help terminate Florida's pollution, then signed three executive orders designed to ease greenhouse gases to just 20 percent of what they were in 1990 by 2050. The Republican governors of California and Florida gave the Bush administration the cold shoulder on Friday as Florida set new limits on greenhouse gas emissions and signed cooperation pacts on climate change with Germany and Britain. Another day, another sex scandal involving a god-fearing republican who just happened to be a key supporter of John McCain. That and the fact that this legislator had also co-sponsored bills on public sex is pretty much par for the course with these guys.
