It Dies Today
It Dies Today (formed in September, 2001) is a metalcore band based in Buffalo, New York. The group's music is a blend of brutal riffs and punishing breakdowns coupled with driving melodies. This mixture has attracted fans of many other musical styles including rock, hardcore and metal. Their first album contains harsher vocals than their follow-ups. The band announced their break up on the last day of the Never Shave Again Tour, in Clifton Park, NY. However, this later turned out to be a joke played by the lead singer to a few people: Their myspace page confirms this. On January 17th, 2007 it was announced that frontman/lead vocals Nick Brooks had left the band and that Jason Wood would be the new vocalist. The band would start recording with their new vocalist in June or July. They will also be playing at Warped Tour summer of '07. For all the fans who haven't had the chance to hear Jason Wood, It Dies Today uploaded 2 songs with Jason as vocalist on their myspace.
