Luis Javier García Sanz (born June 24, 1978 in Badalona, Spain), commonly known as Luis García, is a Spanish football player. Currently playing for Atlético Madrid, his favourite form of celebration is sucking his thumb in a dedicated to his first-born son, Joel. He is most famous for his Liverpool days where he played a pivotal role in the club's Champions League triumph in 2005.
