Last update: Sunday 21st of March 2010 Sister Bliss Sister Bliss (real name Ayalah Bentovim, Hebrew אילה בן-טובים - born December 30, 1970) is a British musician, producer and DJ. In the studio she is best known for her work with Rollo Armstrong creating and remixing hits by a number of artists. She started music at the age of five, when she learned how to play the piano. She eventually moved on to the violin, saxophone and then bass. She is also a member of "Faithless" which she formed in 1995 with Rollo, Jamie Catto and Maxi Jazz. Various others have been members and collaborators over the years including Zoë Johnston and, frequently, Dido Armstrong who is Rollo's sister and began her music career providing backing vocals for the band. Faithless tour extensively and while Rollo prefers to stay in the studio, Sister Bliss can be seen on stage with Maxi, attracting some of the biggest cheers with her anthemic keyboard riffs without ever saying a word.Seen here at 1.43. Sister Bliss also is a hugely popular and successful club DJ and remixer. When she is not touring with Faithless or working in the studio she attracts huge crowds wherever she plays. The one exception was at the Ultra Music Festival 6 in Miami at the end of the Winter Music Conference 2004 where she played to under 10 people in a tent that could easily have held over 1000 at a festival with over 40,000 clubbers in attendance. Her place on the billing clashed with Paul van Dyk, who was on the main stage. On the evening of 10 September 2006 she became a mother, giving birth to a baby boy.
