Last update: Saturday 20th of March 2010 The DelphinesKathy Valentine (born Kathryn Valentine on January 7, 1959 in Austin, Texas) is the bassist for the all-girl punk/pop band, The Go-Go's. Before joining the Go Go's, she had a brief stint in the heavy metal band Girlschool and later performed with The Textones and The Delphines (with co-Go-Go Gina Schock). Valentine's first solo album Light Years was released on September 6, 2005, on her own 'All For One Music' record label. Valentine produced, wrote, arranged, played lead and rhythm guitars, and sang all the lead vocals on the album. Valentine lives in Austin, with her husband Steven (an attorney and musician) and daughter Audrey, born October 28, 2002. See also
