UNKLE is a British musical outfit founded in 1994 by school friends James Lavelle and Tim Goldsworthy. Originally categorized as trip-hop, the group once included producer DJ Shadow and has employed a variety of guest artists and producers.

    London based DJ, producer and label boss James Lavelle is set to return with a new album from his UNKLE project this summer. Titled War Stories, the 14 track record is to be released through Lavelle’s own Surrender All label and is due to hit UK record shops on July 9th.
